Your Lesson Could be On TV!!
We are proud to announce that NJTV Learning Live has launched on television screens throughout the Garden State, and we’re inviting you to participate in this important project.
This initiative, a partnership between NJEA, NJDOE, and WNET/NJTV, delivers televised academic enrichment to students who may lack access to certain technology at home. Lessons began being aired for students in grades 3-6 each weekday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 6 and will continue for the duration of this crisis.
Different content areas– English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, and even “specials” like art and music–will be covered during four, hour-long blocks each day.
We are especially excited about this project because it showcases New Jersey’s excellent educators doing what they do best: going above and beyond to serve those students who need it most.
Because this equity initiative is ongoing, we are looking for NJEA members like you to join us in this emergency relief effort. If you would like to participate by having one of your lessons aired on NJTV, please fill out this survey and Kimberly will contact you about next steps.
